So you, Son of Man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Ezekiel 33:7

Statement of Faith

We are in a time of relativism. People, pseudo-ministries, and businesses parade under the name of God, yet what God means to them is often different than what God means to you. We can no longer take for granted that a belief in God is a belief in Jesus Christ.

In light of this doctrinal confusion, Watchmen 33 wants to leave nothing to speculation on where we stand on what we believe the Bible is teaching us about the nature of the Creator of the universe. These are our doctrinal beliefs that we not only hold fast to, but we bank our eternity on.

God

We believe there is one true God, perfect in all His attributes, and character, one in essence, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, Controller, Judge, Ruler, and High King of all things and beings. He rules and reigns in absolute sovereignty for His Divine purpose and glory alone. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, Controller, Judge, Ruler, and High King of all things and beings. He rules and reigns in absolute sovereignty for His Divine purpose and glory alone.

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was, and is, the Messiah sent from God the Father. The Lord Jesus Christ in his manifestation on earth was both fully God and Man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, died, buried, bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at God the Father's right hand. He is literally coming again to gather His prepared church to be with Him forever. He will judge the entire world and completely establish His eternal kingdom.

Scripture

We believe that the Bible is God's written revelation of Himself. These Holy Scriptures are perfect as originally given by and from God. They are to be used as an authoritative source for all matters of instruction. All other knowledge systems that exist must be weighed against the authority of Scripture to determine their validity.

Man

We believe that God directly created man in His image evident in the first human who was Adam. Adam was the first of his kind, not descended from any previous animal-like form.

Man lost his original innocence and freedom in Adam’s sin of disobedience. Mankind likewise incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death and became subject to the wrath of God. Consequently, man, after the introduction of sin into our hearts and world, is inherently corrupt and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God. Man is now sinful in nature, completely unrighteous, depraved and corrupt as a result of the original sin. Mankind is hopelessly lost apart from God's Divine grace. God alone can regenerate the heart of man and restore righteousness, and this righteousness can only come from the Messiah who is Jesus Christ. It is Christ alone, through His sacrifice that can testify for us and present us as holy unto the Father.

Creation

We believe in the literal six-day creation and the rest on the seventh. We believe in the literal temptation of the serpent that led to the fall of man, and consequently the corruption of all things natural. We believe that Jesus Christ was not a second choice or a back up plan by God, but was the original intent of God from the beginning.

Salvation

Due to the guilt of sin that was caused by the fall of Adam, salvation becomes necessary to spend eternity in the Kingdom of God. Salvation cannot be gained on the basis of any human merit or works, but by the merit and works of Jesus Christ alone through the shedding of his blood as the needed sacrifice for our sins, and through His resurrection that conquered death. This salvation of man is by God's grace alone, through His gift of faith so that we can believe in our hearts, repent of our sin nature, and confess with our mouths the Messianic authority of Jesus Christ. The ongoing process of sanctification and the future state of glorification are likewise provided and received by grace through faith.

Ministry Direction

Watchmen 33 is driven by the theme of 'Keep the Kingdom First'. Watchmen 33 will proclaim the message of salvation to the unbeliever, and deliver resources designed to help the believer to grow in faith, understanding, and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
